Disable/Enable Aero Shake

One of the interesting new features in Windows 7 is the way you can grab a window by the title bar and 'shake' it back and forth to minimize everything else. However, you can disable this feature by following these steps:

 1. Click on the Start button and type 'regedit' into the Search box
 2. Navigate to the following key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
 3. Right-click on the 'Windows' key in the left pane
 4. Select 'New->Key' and name it 'Explorer'
 5. Right-click in the right pane and select 'New->DWord Value'
 6. Enter 'NoWindowMinimizingShortcuts' into the Name box
 7. Enter '1' into the Value box
 8. Click 'OK' then restart your computer for the changes to take effect

If you decide later you want to use Aero Shake, simply go to the Registry and delete the 'Explorer' you created from the above steps.
